Education

Mrs. Haynes graduated from Union County High School in Blairsville, GA, in 1990. She then attended and graduated from Shorter College in Rome, GA, with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Psychology in 1994.  Mrs. Haynes then pursued her teaching certification at the State University of West Georgia and completed this program 1997. She earned her Master's Degree in Special Education from the State University of West Georgia in 2001. 



Experience

Mrs. Haynes is beginning her twenty-first year of teaching this year. She has been employed with the Douglas County School System for eighteen years. Mrs. Haynes has been the Educational Evaluator at MAES and WES for two years now. Prior to that, she taught at CHMS for fifteen years. During the 2004-2005 school year, she served as Educational Evaluator for Alexander High School.  Prior to teaching at CHMS, Mrs. Haynes taught at Central Middle School in Carroll County for three years. Mrs. Haynes also served as the Varsity Basketball Cheerleading Coach for Alexander High School for four years.

HONORS: Mrs. Haynes was named the Chapel Hill Middle School Teacher of the Year and the Douglas County Middle School Teacher of the Year for the 2009-2010 school year.

Mrs. Haynes is married to Blake Haynes of Leesburg, AL. They have two daughters, Baylee and Addison.
