“The Douglas County School System has had the privilege of employing Emily Hanlin as our School Nutrition Director for the last three years,” said Superintendent Trent North. “We offer our heartfelt congratulations to Ms. Hanlin who was named today as the Executive Director of Food and Nutrition Services for the Cobb County School District. Ms. Hanlin began her school nutrition career 10 years ago in Cobb and will start her new position there at the end of September.”

Ms. Hanlin said, “This is not a decision I made lightly. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with fantastic people in this great Douglas County School System organization. While I am looking forward to new growth opportunities in Cobb, I will miss working day to day with the Administration and School Nutrition team to provide high quality meals to the students of the Douglas County School System.”

The application and interview process will begin soon to find a qualified candidate to fill the vacancy in Douglas County.
