Mason Creek Elementary is currently under construction. Douglas County's newest elementary school is slated to open on schedule for the 2009 - 2010 school year in early August. Kathleen French officially became the new school's first principal in January 2009. Construction is ahead of schedule and the building offers an excellent facility for administrators, teachers, and staff members to provide quality instruction to students in the community it serves.
